David Gasson joined Boston Capital in 1995 and serves as Vice President and Director of Corporate Communications. Boston Capital is a diversified, real estate investment and advisory firm, serving clients nationwide and internationally. Through its various investment funds, Boston Capital controls over $12 billion in real estate assets is the largest investor/owner of apartment properties in the  United States. Boston Capital’s portfolio consists of over 2,200 properties that are located in 49 states and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Gasson’s responsibilities include initiating and overseeing the conception, design and production of all external communications including editorial sourcing, executive and business line features and marketing on behalf of Boston Capital and its affiliated companies. Mr. Gasson is responsible for representing Boston Capital’s housing and tax agenda before the administration and Congress in Washington, DC, regularly meeting with legislative leaders and senior legislative staff. This includes serving as the company’s representative on relevant industry groups and associations. Mr. Gasson is regularly invited to address conferences and industry groups across the country on issues related to housing, tax policy and the national political environment.

Mr. Gasson also coordinates the participation of the President, CEO, and senior management of Boston Capital with the Boston civic community. Mr. Gasson serves as Executive Director of the Boston Capital Foundation and in this regard is responsible for all philanthropic giving on behalf of Boston Capital Corporation.  

In addition to his role at Boston Capital Mr. Gasson serves as the representative for the President and CEO of Boston Capital, Jack Manning, on numerous Boards and Commissions to which Mr. Manning has been appointed including:

-       John F. Kennedy Library Foundation
-       Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
-       President’s Export Council (appointed by President Clinton) 1998 - 2001
-       National Multi-Housing Council
