Sean Sacks is an Assistant Vice President for Development at New Boston Fund, a real estate investment manager with nearly $4.4 billion in cumulative investment and development activity over the last 15 years through eight private-equity real estate funds. Sean focuses his efforts on the company’s Urban Strategy America (USA) Fund, an investment fund that executes on the promise of a triple bottom line- generating solid returns to investors, spurring economic development and workforce housing, and promoting environmental sustainability. He is currently the development manager for the mixed-use One Roxbury Crossing and Parcel 24 projects which combined constitute over 700,000 square feet of residential, retail, and office space in the City of Boston. Sean also focuses on deal sourcing, underwriting and analysis of USA Fund investments. Sean graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Vassar College and received his M.S. in Real Estate Development and Masters in City Planning (M.C.P) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2005. He is the past co-president of MIT’s Alumni Association of the Center for Real Estate (AACRE), as well as a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI), National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the Progressive Business Leaders Network (PBLN). Sean is a recipient of the 2008 NAIOP Developing Leaders award.
