Brenda Gray Reny is the Director of Client Services and a Managing Director at Daintree Advisors. Brenda builds relationships with clients and their advisors. Brenda has oversight for all aspects of the client experience at Daintree, and leads the firm's Family Office Services. Brenda joined Daintree as one of its founders in early 2010. Most recently a Director in the Family Office Group at Deutsche Bank, Brenda was previously a Senior Vice President in The Private Bank at Bank of America. Brenda began her career in financial services as a Commercial Loan Officer at Bank of New England. Prior to entering the world of finance, Brenda was a university professor and archaeologist, teaching at the University of Pennsylvania and directing excavations in England, France and Italy. She received her B.A. magna cum laude from Wesleyan University, where she was a Dean’s Fellow and the recipient of a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship. Brenda earned an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of the inaugural class of the Alternative Careers Program at the Wharton School. Brenda holds a CTFA designation, and is fluent in French and Italian. Brenda lives in Lexington with her husband Tim, and their three sons, Paul, Jonathan and Thomas. She sits on the boards of The Handel and Haydn Society, Agassiz Village, and Compass for Kids. A believer in the power of collective philanthropy, Brenda is a founding member of Womenade Boston, a giving circle focused on the needs of women and girls.
